Our estate chardonnay is grown in the volcanic ashen soils of Chalk Hill, a temperate AVA, just north of Santa Rosa. A cool spring and summer defined the 2010 growing season with a heat spike in late August leading to a warm September. This French oak fermented chardonnay displays yellow apple and pie spice with a hint of minerality showing on a long finish. Sustainably farmed. Tom Klein - Proprietor. Rick Sayre - Winemaker.
