Add 3-5 minutes to bake time for dark or coated pans. Cake is done if toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 10 to 20 minutes (tube pan 25 minutes) . Remove from pan & cool top side up. Frost when completely cooled. Store loosely covered. Two 8 inch round pans: 350 degrees F; bake time: 28-32 minutes. Two 9 inch round pans: 350 degrees F; bake time: 24-28 minutes. One 13 x 9 inch pan: 350 degrees F; bake time: 28-32 minutes.
