Keep refrigerated below 40 degrees F at all times. Fully cooked. For best quality, use or freeze by date shown on package. Once opened, use within 7 days. Preparation: Grill: (recommended preparation method) grill over med-low heat for 6-8 minutes or until hot, turning frequently. Stovetop: bring 2/3 cup water to boil in a large skillet. Add franks; cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until hot, turning once. For added browning, drain water and heat an additional 1-2 minutes per side or until lightly browned. Microwave: directions were developed using an 1100 watt microwave oven. Ovens vary, heat times may need to be adjusted. Wrap in a paper towel and place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high for 35-40 seconds or until hot. Let stand in microwave 1 minute, before serving. Due to differences in cooking equipment, cooking times may require adjustment. For children under 5 years: cut frank lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces. Serving suggestion: Serve grilled frank in a toasted pretzel roll topped with sauerkraut and a sprinkling of Swiss cheese.
