Ovens vary; cooking time may need to be adjusted.Do not cook more than one pot pie at a time.1. Pull tab on side of box and remove perforated strip. Do not remove pot pie from the outer box. The silver grid liner inside the box must be over top of pot pie. Fold bottom flap of open end under box.2. Place open box, with pot pie inside, into center of microwave.1100 watt microwave: Cook on High (100% Power) 7 minutes. Rotate box 1/4 turn and continue cooking on 50% power an additional 7 minutes.700 watt microwave: Cook on High (100% Power) 12 minutes and 30 seconds. Rotate box 1/4 turn halfway through cooking time.3. Let stand in microwave 5 minutes to complete cooking. Pot pie is done when it is cooked throughout.4. Carefully remove pot pie from box. The box and pot pie will be very hot.Crust should be golden brown and steam rising from the filling. Check that pot pie is cooked thoroughly and that the internal temperature has reached 180 degrees F by using a food thermometer in several spots.Conventional oven cooking: since ovens vary, cooking heat and times may require adjusting.1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Pull tab on side of box to open. Remove pot pie from box. Leave pot pie in paper tray. Wrap a 3 strip of aluminum foil around the edge of pot pie crust to protect it.2. Place tray on a baking sheet on center rack in oven. Cook 65-70 minutes. Crust should be golden brown and steam rising from the filling.3. Carefully remove baking sheet with tray from oven. Carefully remove foil. Let stand on baking sheet 5 minutes before serving.4.
