Add mix. Beat with a wire whisk, rotary beater, or electric mixer at lowest speed, beat until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes. , Shaker method: pour milk into a leakproof 1-quart container. Add mix. Cover tightly; shake vigorously at least 45 seconds. Pour at once into dishes; pudding will be soft set and ready to eat in 5 minutes. , For pie: prepares as for pudding, using only 1-3/4 cups milk and beating only 1 minute. Mixture will be thin.
