Bring 1-2/3 cups water and 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) margarine (butter) to a boil in a medium saucepan. 2. Stir in contents of stuffing mix pouch; cover. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. Microwave: 1. Mix contents of stuffing mix pouch with 1-2/3 cups hot water and 1/4 cup margarine or butter (cut into pieces) in a microwave safe bowl. Cover. 2. Microwave on High power approximately five to six minutes. 3. Fluff with fork and serve. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking time is approximate. In-the-Bird Preparation. Prepare stuffing according to package . Do not stuff bird until ready to roast. Rinse poultry with cold water. Pat dry, salt lightly.
