If microwaving, increase time to 6-8 minutes. For Creamier Potatoes: Stir in more milk, 1 tbsp at a time. Microwave: 1. Stir 1-2/3 cups hot water, 1/2 cup 2% milk, 2 tbsp margarine, 1 packet potatoes and seasoning mix in microwaveable bowl until moistened. 2. Cover with plastic wrap, folding back one side to vent. Microwave on high 2-6 minutes. 3. Whip with fork until smooth. For stiffer potatoes let stand 3-5 minutes. High Altitude: No changes needed.
