Krusteaz Bake & Fry Coating MixEnriched Bleached Flour (wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid, Malted Barley Flour, Ascorbic Acid), Whole Wheat Flour, Yellow Corn Flour, Salt, Whey (milk Protein) Less Than 2% Of: Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Baking Soda, Paprika (color), Defatted Soy Flour, SpiceYou Will Need: 1 Cup Coating Mix; 1/2 Cup Liquid (water, milk and/or slightly beaten egg) ; Chicken - 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb; Fish Fillets - 1 1/2 to 2 lb; Pork Chops - 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb; Clams or Oysters - 1 lb. Before You Begin: For Baking - Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. For Frying - Preheat frying pan with 2 tablespoons cooking oil to 350 degrees F (medium heat). 1. Place coating mix in shallow bowl. Pour liquid into separate bowl. 2. Moisten pieces in liquid. Shake off excess moisture. 3. Coat moistened pieces one at a time. Bake or fry as directed below. Baking Guide: Place coated pieces in prepared pan and bake as directed. Turn once during baking. Boneless Chicken: 25-35 minutes; Chicken Pieces: 40-50 minute; Pork Chops: 25-35 minutes; Fish Fillets: 20-30 minutes; Clams & Oysters - Not advised. Frying Guide: Place coated pieces in preheated pan. Brown on both sides over medium heat. Reduce heat slightly and continue to cook uncovered, turning frequently until done. Boneless Chicken: 10-15 minutes; Chicken Pieces: 30-40 minute; Pork Chops: 10-15 minutes; Fish Fillets: 5-10 minutes; Clams & Oysters: 5-8 minutes. Baking and frying times may vary depending on thickness of meat. Chicken is done at an internal temperature of 180 degrees F and pork at 165 degrees F.
