This represents a 25% reduction in sodium as compared to USDA data for corned beef brisket. Sodium has been reduced from 1363 mg per 4 oz. (112g) serving to 960mg per 4 oz. (112g) serving. Lower sodium content. Directions Keep refrigerated. Prepare with pride: Cover Mash's corned beef with water. (For delicatessen flavor add 1 teaspoon mixed spices.) Cover. Bring to boil and simmer in original water until tender. Approximately 3 hours. Test with fork. Allow to cool 15 min. Without removing from water. Meat is ready to serve. Slice thin across grain for best flavor. Microwave cooking instructions: Remove from package. Place Mash's corned beef in microwave approved covered dish. Cover meat with water. For delicatessen flavor add 1 tsp. Mixed spices. Cook covered for 30 minutes on high setting. Turn beef over in dish. Cover and simmer until fork tender, Approx. 50 min.
