Old Fashioned OatsOrganic Whole Grain Rolled OatsStove Top: 1 serving: 1 cup water (or milk) (use less water for thicker oatmeal or more water for thinner); 1/2 cup oats; dash salt (optional) (for low sodium diets, omit salt). 2 servings: 1-3/4 cups water (or milk) (use less water for thicker oatmeal or more water for thinner); 1 cup oats; 1/8 tsp salt (optional) (for low sodium diets, omit salt). 6 servings: 5 cups water (or milk) (use less water for thicker oatmeal or more water for thinner); 3 cup oats; 1/4 tsp salt (optional) (for low sodium diets, omit salt). 1. Bring water and salt to rolling boil. 2. Add oats; reduce to medium heat and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Cover. Remove from heat and serve in 2-3 minutes. Microwave (Due to differences in microwave ovens, cooking time is approximate): 1 serving: 1 cup water (or milk) (use less water for thicker oatmeal or more water for thinner); 1/2 cup oats; dash salt (optional) (for low sodium diets, omit salt). 1. Combine water, oats and salt in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave on medium (50% power) 5-6 minutes. 3. Remove from oven. Mix well.Long Description
