Short Description
Capricho Val De Paxariñas Godello Winery The Godello grapes are sourced from a 30 yr old vineyard plot with a southerly exposure in Canedo. The additional Doña Blanca grapes were from a vineyard over 60 years of age in Quilós. Typical yields of both are around 1-2kg/vine. After harvesting the grapes in 15kg crates, they undergo 12 hours of cold maceration then temperature-controlled fermentation at 14ºC in stainless steel. Fermentation is stopped by chilling, leaving around 4g/l of residual sugar. The wine ages on lees in stainless steel for 3 months, then is kept at 2ºC and bottled regularly throughout year to retain freshness.Long Description
