The common supermarket Burgos-style cheeses can be heavily processed in order to extend shelf-life and this often results in a bland, rubbery cheese that is a word away from its natural, fresh counterpart. We've taken great care to select a Burgos-style fresh cheese that is expertly micro-filtered to give a longer shelf-life whilst limiting deterioration of texture and taste. The result is an excellent fresh white cheese that can be enjoyed savoury - as part of a salad for example, or sweet - accompanied by jam, membrillo or honey.
