Bodegas Vina Extremena Corte Real 2009 Ruby-red colored wine with evolutionary rims and a medium-high intensity. This wine opens quickly, offering special notes and the presence of a wood tinged by its fruity and alcoholic residues. It is complex due to its good harmony and aromatic abundance. In the mouth, a good entry and a great expressiveness can be appreciated. Moderate acidity and well structured with warm and soft tannins. It presents a pronounced fleshiness after spending ten minutes in the glass. Its aftertaste has some toasted-sugar nuances. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon 50% Tempranillo. Mr. Alfonso Iglesias Infante is the founder of the family group Alcoholes Iglesias, which includes the aging cellar Bodegas Vinya Extremenya. Since he was very young, he focused his efforts on growing grapes and producing his own wines in Almendralejo, capital of the region known as Tierra de Barrios. Today, Alcoholes Iglesias owns a vast vineyard and three cellars for wine production, located in different villages. Once the grapes are picked and the must is fermented, Bodegas Vinya Extremenya ages, bottles, and distributes the wines.
