Stemmari Nero D'avola 750ML Nero d 'Avola by Stemmari is a smooth, aromatic and grape varietal red wine from the Italian wine region DOC Sicilia. An intense ruby red with violet reflections presents itself with this wine in the glass. An intense bouquet skilfully flatters the nose. Expressive aromas of sun-ripened currants, freshly picked forest strawberries and ripe pomegranate are revealed. On the palate, this Italian red wine is wonderfully smooth. The fruity character comes to perfection and harmonizes skilfully with the velvety texture. Vinification of the Stemmari Nero d 'Avola Sicilia The Nero d 'Avola vines for this red wine grow both in Sambuca di Sicilia (province of Agrigento) and in Acate (province of Ragusa). In the first week of September, Nero d 'Avola grapes are harvested at full maturity. Once the harvested material has arrived in Stemmari's wine cellar, it is destemmed and fermented on the bowl for 6 to 8 days at a controlled temperature (22 to 24 degrees Celsius) in a stainless steel tank. This wine undergoes complete malolactic fermentation. Finally, this wine matures for 6 months in French oak barrels.
