Planeta burdese

Short Description

Burdese Sicilia Doc 2015 - Planeta The Burdese of Planeta from the Italian wine region DOC Sicilia is a rich, characterful and very well structured red wine cuvée, vinified from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grape varieties. With a rich purple red and ruby red highlights, this wine presents itself in the glass. Expressive aromas of blueberries, juicy sour cherries - accompanied by leather - flatter the nose. Gradually, the aroma develops into intense notes of shadow morals, cocoa, iodine and some rosemary. The very good structure harmonizes perfectly with the dense tannins that give the wine flavor. The ripe, very dense and rich fruit fullness also gives this red wine its characterful personality. The finale comes with a wonderful length. Vinification of Planeta Burdese In the locations Dispensa and Moroccoli of DOC Sicilia, the grapes for this red wine grow on moderately calcareous soils. After harvesting the grapes, the harvested material is first destemmed in the wine cellar of Planeta and remains on the berry skins for 21 days. This wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks - followed by malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks. The ageing of this red wine takes place for 14 months in barriques made of All Oak (100% new wood) . Food recommendation for Burdese Sicilia Planeta With its complex personality, this dry red wine from Italy is an excellent soloist. But this wine can also be served with casseroles, game dishes in dark sauce and cozy barbecues. Awards for the Burdese of Planeta James Suckling: 92 points for 2014 Wine Enthusiast: 90 points for 2014 More products from Planeta
