Kamut is a Khorasan-type durum wheat that originated in the Middle East several thousand years ago and is the ancestor of our modern grains. Kamut is twice the size of modern-day wheat and is known for its rich nutty flavor. This chiocciole (snail) shaped pasta is made with premium kamut and water. The Monograno Felicetti line strives to combine the selection of organic raw ingredients (the best grains, pure air, and water from the Trentino region) together with a vivid expression of the art of pasta making while adhering to the ethically and environmentally sound practices.
