If you're a buyer, seller, or agent who is involved in the trade of agricultural commodities, you definitely know that fraud is a major issue. We've had our fair share of fraudulent stakeholders reach out to us with different approaches. Some were buyers, others were sellers, and many others claimed to be agents. In order for you to save your valuable time, we created this contribution. It consists of a list of stakeholders, who we deem not trustworthy. Feel free to reach out to us if we missed someone and share your fair experience:
Company / Individual | Classification | Experience |

Eladawy Export Import | Buyer |
This company reached out to us and claimed to be a legitimate buyer of commodities like basmati rice, long grain white rice, and multiple other products. An unknown Mohamed Hussein Eladawy claims to be the CEO of the company. When asked to submit a Letter of Intent, they bring up excuses and state the following: ALSO YOU MUST BE KNOW THAT ACCORDING TO THE This is the decision No. 43 that has been implemented
If you trust them and send them money to issue you a certificate so that you can sell your commodities to them, you fell for it. When asked what that certificate looks like, they will even go as far as sending sellers a fake document. This is what the document looks like: They use the following email addresses: eladawy.exp.imp@gmail.com |
