Veg Fried Rice with Crispy Chicken- A True Chinese Platter

Chinese Cuisine has become a very popular food in all the regions of the world. People from all walks of life loved Chinese cuisine and count it in their favorite food. From simple noodles to all delicious recipes, Chinese food serves every dining very well and cherishes all taste buds. Among all the popular Chinese recipes, Fried rice is a very famous one but it will more delicious if you serve it with Crispy Fried Chicken, which is another savory meal in Chinese. However, today we are going to make Chinese platter with the layers of fried rice and crispy chicken. The fried rice with colorful vegetables and crispy chicken with pleasing aroma will together make your dinner exquisite and bright. Following the recipe, you will surely have the best Chinese at home with a simple method and distinctive taste. So let’s start the recipe and note ingredients

Ingredients

For Veg Fried Rice

  • 2 tbs. cooking oil
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/4 cup green onion chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic chopped
  • 1/4-cup cabbage chopped
  • 1/4-cup capsicum chopped
  • 1/4 Cup yellow bell pepper chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Carrots chopped
  • ½ tsp. black pepper crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. Sesame oil
  • 2 tbs. soy sauce
  • 1/4-cup coriander leaves
  • 500-gram rice boiled

For Crispy Chicken:

  • 500-gram Chicken julienne cut
  • 1 tsp. black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbs. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic chopped
  • 1Egg
  • 3/4 Cup Cornflour
  • Cooking oil for frying

For Sauce;

  • ½ tsp. Black pepper powder
  • Salt 1 pinch only
  • ½ tbs. Brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. Sesame oil
  • Water as required
  • ½ tbs. Corn flour

For garnishing;

  • 1 tbsp. Green onions
  • 1 tbsp. Coriander

Preparation Instructions

Preparing Veg Fried Rice; In a pan, first heat oil and add beaten eggs and stir until crumbled. Now add green onion, garlic and stir again. Add cabbage, capsicum, yellow bell paper, carrot in the pan and stir for 2 minutes. Now add spices like black pepper, salt, sesame oil, soya sauce and mix well. Once mixed, add boiled rice and coriander leaves and give it a good mix. Cover the lid and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. The Vegetable Fried Rice is ready.

Preparing Crispy Chicken; Take a bowl and add chicken, black paper, salt, soy sauce, garlic, egg and mix well. Now add corn flour and coat chicken completely. In a wok, heat oil and deep fry the chicken till golden brown and set it aside too. Now in a small bowl, add soya sauce, black pepper, salt, brown sugar, sesame oil, corn flour and water to make a thin paste and mix well. In a pan, heat 3 tbsp. Oil and add green onions and stir it. Now add the sauce to the pan and let it simmer till becomes thick. Add fried chicken with coriander and green onion leaves and mixes them all very well for one to two minutes and set aside. Now, to make a platter, take a serving dish and add veg fried rice first and layer it with crispy fried chicken, garnish with green onion leave and serves hot!
